Nightmare's End

dreaming of the nights of a time before memories were tainted by the ambitions of a selfish soul
i am enveloped by the peace of the times when life didnt rest upon the whims of a single mans dieseased heart
where are we now
where do we go from here
who are we to dream of the days when our solace last forever and we no longer fear tomorrow
where do we go from here
where do we rest our weary hearts
enveloped by the hope of this singular passion
i am set free

set free from the nightmare of you
keeping me away from my dreams
peace had faded
and you had your shot at glory
in the end you are
just another souless character to be added
to my story

and it ends without passion without fury

but with the silent hate that burns away the last of my sanity

turning these once white walls into the walls within my mind

the walls of my asylum
